July Update

The month of June saw us get closer to our goal of being fully funded and getting closer to planning when we will leave for the field. We are hoping that all of our necessary funding will come in by the end of August so that we can leave for the field in September. Information on How to Setup Monthly Donation

For those of you who would like to join us in monthly financial support for our mission work in Estonia here is step-by-step on how you do it.

First, click on the tab at the top of the page that says "Join Our Support Team." There is a form there that I need you to fill out and submit that lets me know your name, email address, and how much you will be donating. This is an important step because I need this information to set you up to receive my newsletter as well as to let me know the amount for my funding report.

Then, on the right side of the page there is a red "Donate Now" button. Click that button and it will link you to the BMAA Missions secure giving page were you can create an account and set up a monthly donation. I believe that you can set it up for a year or more if you so desire. The donation will go straight to our ministry fund every month. If any of you have any problems, let me know and I'll help you out.

Ministry Partnership

My name is Justin Owens and I am a newly approved Missionary Candidate to the nation of Estonia. Estonia is located in northeastern Europe just south of Finland and just west of Russia. We are in the ministry partnership building phase and are looking to begin building our network of partners. Let me share a little about Estonia and the vision God has given us.

Estonia has not had a great past. For many years they were controlled by many different countries. As a nation, there have only been two times of freedom in the past 750 years. Typical Estonians are very skeptical about any institutional religion or church and view it as another type of control. Estonia is less than 2% Christian and is classified as an unreached people group.

For Estonia, God has given us the mission to help Estonians find their way to Jesus and the vision to PLANT:

To turn Estonia upside down through:

• Partnering with Estonian nationals
• Leading people to faith in Christ
• Assembling new small discipleship groups
• Networking the groups into simple churches
• Training disciples to reproduce the ministry

"These men who have turned the world upside down have come here also." – Acts 17:6b

Our motivation for the vision is to reach those who would not go to an institutional church and to bring the church to them. Estonia is roughly 70% non-religious and in need of new church communities. Our idea of success is when we have helped Estonians find their way to Jesus who are now making disciples themselves. That is the command of Jesus. Having disciplemaking disciplemakers will ensure that reproduction will continue.

Our appeal to you is to join us in this ministry. Join us helping Estonians find their way to Jesus. Join us in turning Estonia upside down. Join us in becoming our strategic partner through prayer and financial giving. In order for us to be fully funded and able to carry out the mission and vision God has given us, we need the following commitments:

10 support partners at $100/mo.
10 support partners at $150/mo.
